Crew
Well, my suspicions of last year were confirmed...my crew was just fantastic, and it's a great comfort to have friends & family who you know you can count on. I consider this part of the "home field" advantage. Like last year, they'll walk & run with me, fix me, and feed me. This year they'll also have the bonus of dragging me up to the top of Mt. Whitney.

Lewin & Sue Mom and Dad are coming back for a return tour! This time they're going to split their support between Steve and I, so they'll have plenty to do. Mom's our mobile chef and Dad is chief problem solver. |
Mark Mark & Patty signed up for #2 as well, but Patty had to drop out and take care of her sister, who was having surgery. She came through fine! |
Mark Mark's also back for the second year in a row. He must like the heat. Mark's a long time running buddy, my business partner, all around good guy, and a great friend. I'll be looking forward to climbing that last stretch with him again. |

Charlotte It was Charlotte's second time out, having come out toward the end on my first crossing. Charlotte knows how to be upbeat and positive when I'm dragging! |
Charlie Charlie's going to be my energy reserve. He's been training for the Furnace Creek 508 bike ride, and I think he'll be a good guy to have around. Likely to break into a routine at any time, so be careful. |
