Don't let the picture above fool you! After record rains that produced a veritable lake at Badwater, the course proved to be just as tough as it had in previous years.
This time I managed to raise almost $9,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society...in some ways, the most significant run of my life.
I managed to finish in 56:41, which was a good deal slower than I thought, but, hey, does it really matter? I think this was my last time across, and it was, once more spent with family and good friends. It truly doesn't get much better than this.
