Over Labor Day weekend, some of the folks up in Bishop invited Mark & Patty Giebel and whoever else they could round up to come out for some runs in the Eastern Sierras. We did four days of running:

• Day 1: North Lake to Upper Lamarck Lake. We actually took a wrong turn and ended up on a ridge just south of the lake, where we could see over into the next basin. About 6 miles.
• Day 2: South Lake to LeConte Canyon, through Bishop Pass. About 22 miles.
• Day 3: North Lake to Piute Pass, through Hutchison Meadow, over Pine Creek Pass and down into Pine Creek. About 26 miles.
• Day 4: Breakfast at Tom's Place and a short one up McGee Creek. About 6 miles.

Each morning we had breakfast at Mark & Patty's in Aspendell. Friday night we had dinner at Larry & Linda Emerson's, Saturday at Phil & Kari Marchant's, and Sunday we went for a mexican feast at Las Palmas.
